The process of site development is a lengthy one, and the journey of launching this new Ballarat Digital billboard was no exception. Solving a few challenges along the way, the electronic billboard site was constructed yesterday. Seen above the building on the Corner of Mair St E & Humffray St N, requiring the use of a large crane, causing a temporary closure of Humffray St.
“It has been two years since we started on this Ballarat digital billboard project” said director James Course. “So, you can bet we are over the moon to see it ready to showcase some of Ballarat’s best.”
With the digital billboard’s prime location on the Corner of Mair St E & Humffray St N, central to Ballarat’s CBD and near anchor brands like Coles, McDonalds, Dan Murphy’s and Big W, there’s no surprise it’s already fully pre-booked until 2022.
The new Ballarat digital billboard has seen massive attention, even prior to going live. Running 10 advertisers each week on an even 30 second rotation, this electronic site exposes a range of brands to 190,400 cars (over 4 weeks) travelling throughout Ballarat.
Filling up the spaces in its first month live are Optus, Deakin University, GenU, Federation University, Federation TAFE as well as some Ballarat locals including Ballarat Leagues Club, Hope Accounting, Nazareth House and Harcourts.
