There’s no curve ball quite like a pandemic.  No matter how strategically you planned out your year, when the first wave struck , all bets were off.  Especially if you were in Victoria.

Initially we felt the impact when it was clear that many advertising budgets were pulled but fortunately for us, regional Victoria didn’t bear the brunt of the impact. The early easing of restrictions saw a ray of optimism for the regional market, while Melbournians battled their way through lockdown. In fact, now Regional Victoria is thriving, bigger and better than ever – and so are we.

We are proud to share this year’s achievements:

– 22 new billboards were built in regional Victoria, 20 of them were ours.

– Of these, 2 were digital sites in Warrnambool and Torquay.

– We employed our first staff member, based in regional Vic.

– The Regional Billboard Co rebranded to Gawk, thanks to Ballarat-based Pepper Agency.

We already have five sites in town planning and a fourth digital site due in March in Ballarat, as we look to double down with another strong year of growth.  We have hired a second team member to commence in January and have began the search for our third; a regional sales manager.

Thanks to the support of our clients, landlords family and friends, we have thrived by continuing to grow our business and portfolio through COVID-19. Difficult circumstances will never change our vision of being regional Victoria’s home of outdoor advertising.
